We created the brand identity for buggg, a new social app designed to make reaching out to friends feel easier and more natural.

buggg lets you see when your friends are free and what they’re up for right now, turning “we should hang soon” into actual plans.

The identity centers on a custom wordmark where the letterforms are blended into a continuous shape. Rounded, bubbly forms create a friendly tone while visually expressing the product’s core idea: connection.

A ladybug monogram was drawn from the same forms and counterforms as the logotype. Within the product, the icon becomes the “buggg” button used to nudge friends.

The color system is anchored in an orange-to-yellow gradient that signals energy and action without feeling too urgent. Secondary tones introduce deeper, earthy colors that ground the palette.

On launch, the app was featured as #1 Best New App on the Apple App Store.
